For cassettes with broken tape, your cassette will be repaired with a fine piece of tape to preserve your recordings. You will lose 2 to 3 seconds of material, but the tape will be restored to working condition.

You can have your cassette tapes recorded to a CD! This will keep your recordings safe from mechanical failure. You can choose to have your recordings on an audio CD for playback, or a data CD for storage.
Tracking adds $10/tape.
Tape To Tape $50
For people who need a tape to tape transfer, this service is for you! Have your original or repaired cassette tape transferred to a new cassette!

How do I start?
You will need to either mail the tape to us (We recommend a small bubble wrap or foam wrapped around it in a sleeve or small box), or you can drop it off here at the studio in Oil City.
If the tape is broken, it will most likely need to be opened and transferred to a new shell in order to complete the repair. In cases where we can use the original shell Iwe will, just be aware that the original plastic commonly needs to be forced open to retrieve the tape in order to complete the repair. It will not be usable again after breaking it open. Be assured this will not affect the tape though. We do return the original shell, just be aware it will be empty, and the transferred tape will also be sent back to you in the new shell. You will also receive a copy on CD.
You can mail the payment with the tape by check or money order, or you can use PayPal if you prefer. Repairs begin after PayPal transactions complete.
