Online Lessons (Skype)
Sean Carey Music is proud to offer online music lessons via Skype! Skype lessons are subject to the Studio Policy* just like traditional lessons in addition to those found in the Skype Addendum** to the Studio Policy. Skype lessons will require the use of a sound recording device (microphone) and video transmission device (camera).
To begin your online lessons, you must have a Skype account and the Skype software must be installed on your computer or mobile device. Click the Skype logo on the right to install the software or open your existing program. *YOU MUST have the version of Skype shown under the logo on the right.* You will also need to have a webcam and microphone connected and working properly.
Once you have the Skype software installed, you will need to contact the instructor to set up a lesson time schedule and make your first payment. Use the form on the 'Contact' page to sign up for lessons. The instructor will contact you using the email address you provide to set up a lesson time.
Unlike traditional lessons that are conducted in a face-to-face setting, Skype Lessons are completely online, which means that tuition payments must be made via PayPal. Your Instructor will send you instructions for payment when you sign up for lessons. Once you have been contacted by the instructor, return to this page and use the PayPal link on the right to pay for your lessons. *No lessons will be given until AFTER Tuition has been paid! Please make sure your payment has been completed BEFORE your lesson!*

Skype lesson rates are based on a different Tuition cost than traditional lessons.
The Studio Policy currently does not include Skype Tuition rates. (see below)
*Skype lessons are subject to the same terms outlined in the Studio Policy, with the exception of Tuition payment.
**Inappropriate use of Skype during your lesson will result in lessons being terminated with no refund of Tuition paid.
If you are unsure about anything mentioned above, DO NOT make any payments until you have contacted the instructor!
